                             NuPOWER Business Model and Technology

Business Model :

NµPOWER Semiconductor is a mixed-signal fabless semiconductor company with expertise in Power management, Signal Processing and
ASIC development capabilities.   NµPOWER uses off-shore engineering team for design resource to reduce development cost. NuPOWER's

USA
operation focuses on Management, Application Support, Test, Sales and Marketing as well as Marcom.  NuPOWER sales strategy will
be geared toward utilizing Representative, franchise distributors as well as direct sales force for its sales support and third party logistics for
its operation support.

The Technology:

NµPOWER product development strategy is based on a “Modular Analog Library” called MODAL.   This approach has three distinct
elements and takes advantage of the attractive growth and certain opportunities that are being created in this market.

  1. A design methodology offering high performance modular solutions.  The key to our methodology is a library of pre developed,
fully tested analog, mixed signal cells and building blocks.   A solution can be custom tailored to a given application in a relatively
short amount of time.  Design cycles from concept to silicon are reduced to less than four months.

  2. System oriented solutions to niche markets based on years of quality experience in product definition.  The solutions are made
    programmable and thus user friendly.

  3. Post Package Trim, customer reconfigurable and post production programmability.

NµPOWER modular approach provides simple, easy to use and extremely cost effective solutions with total system in mind.  NµPOWER
“Total System” approach is in contrast to designing a board or device with multiple components that adds to the overall system cost.

What is unique with our products?

NµPOWER solves two basic problems for its customers:

  1. Reduces development-time-to-market by simplifying board level design.

  2. Replaces multi-components with single re-configurable solution thus reducing cost and improving the final yield.

We achieve these objectives by:

  1. Unique  third party  business model that has been mastered  to perfection  through years of  experience in this business

  2. Advanced level of silicon integration utilizing MODAL cells and building blocks plus unique design methodology

  3. Flexible products and strong product designers

  4. Strong sales and application teams

  5. Experienced Silicon and Custom Chip specialists

  6. An aggressive cost model through unique business model

  7. Customer relationships

NµPOWER uses advanced design tools that are a must for development of system oriented solutions.  Most of our competitors are focused on
development of single component as oppose to a library of cells that can be utilized to develop products.  This offers significant differentiating
factor once combined with our MODAL cells.

NµPOWER system oriented solutions, being a one-stop-shop and providing customized solutions will allow us to create and focus on a niche
market and be highly competitive.  As an example we are developing a power management chip set for printer application that could reduce
PM device cost by 50%.  This solution has been well received and provides unique cost saving and smaller form factors.

NµPOWER has strong foundry relationship with Polar Fab which is focused on analog specific process technology, packaging and test partner
Carsem, F/A and Qualification Lab with MEFAS, and local CM specializing in high power package placement through ProbeMI.   These
partnerships plus unique design methodology have resulted in exceptionally small dies size, tight process control with greater than 95% yield
and tremendous package pricing using Carsem MLP and aggressive overall development cost.
